Niles North High School is hosting a Junior High Art Show on January 28, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the main lobby.
The Junior High Art Show is showcasing artwork created by students from Old Orchard Junior High, East Prairie School, McCracken Middle School, and Golf Middle School, as well as current Niles North students. The artwork will be on display in the lobby for the next month.
“The junior high art show is meant to bring together the Niles North feeder schools in an effort to build community,” Amy Zwikel, art teacher, said. “It is important to feature all artists to demonstrate both growth and skill building from sixth grade all the way to twelfth grade.”
The art show will include a discussion about the art program at Niles North, socializing, and giving awards to the junior high students who participated.
The art show will be on Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Niles North lobby. For more information regarding the art show, please contact your art teacher.
