On the evening of May 18, members of the Niles North community flocked to their devices to attend The Fourth Annual Niles North Film Fest: Quarantine Edition. Normally a quiet school event, this year, the festival took the shape of an interactive presentation showcasing fifteen student-made films.

Audience members shared their reactions via Instagram and, in what became a tight race, voted for sophomore Kayli Sarris’ Spin Cycle to be the winner of the “Fan Fave” title. In addition, a panel of judges selected freshman Joe Byron’s Two Friends in One as the winner of the “Judges’ Pick” title.

All fifteen student films are available here. The reveal of the winners with supplemental commentary offered by host and Film Club sponsor Jason Mormolstein can be found on Instagram (@Mormolgrams).
