Indo-Pak Night is an annual event filled with traditional Indian and Pakistani food along with several performances portraying the traditions and the vibrant colors of these unique cultures. Since this event is a combined participation of North and West students, the location alternates each year. This year, it will be taking place on Saturday, April 6 in the Niles North auditorium.

Students have been coordinating and preparing for the performances for three months in order to make the night fun for everyone. Indo-Pak Night features dance performances, singing of cultural songs, hilarious skits and delicious food.

“I love it!” senior member and performer, Marilyn Abraham said. “It’s a fun night to socialize with friends and enjoy what the Indian and Pakistani culture has to offer.”

Tickets are $10 for dinner as well as the show and $7 for just the show.  Stop by the West Cafeteria during lunch periods to purchase tickets since they will not be sold at the door.

“I think this show will be a great way to represent our schools since we live in such a diverse community,” Indo-Pak sponsor Shama Joshi said. “You also don’t have to be a certain ethnicity to come to the show, which is a common misconception. We invite everyone to come to the show because it gives people the chance to explore multiple cultures.”

Do not miss this wonderful opportunity to celebrate and enjoy this outstanding culture with the ones you love the most, even the Wolves!
