It is that time of year where the Niles North Theatre department showcases That’s My Story . That’s My Story are short skits written by elementary school kids, that tells a story from their imagination. These stories come from East Prairie, Middleton, Stenson, and Hines.
“It’s so much fun being an actor in a skit written by kids! It’s a children’s show and it’s just adorable. We are working from a brain of kid and it’s fun to work with their imagination,” Dani Brown, senior, said.
“I love being in That’s My Story because I can be someone who I am normally not. I can act goofy and be hilarious and no one will make fun of me. It’s fun to take a kid’s story and bring it to life,” Becca Stivo, senior, said.
If you are interested in watching That’s My Story, it will be showcased in the Drama Performance Center on Friday, December 4 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.. There will be a $5 dollar admission fee. For more information visit nntheatre.com or call 847-626-2122.
