Model U.N. is club about academic simulation of world government. Members take current world issues and try to find a solution based off of research they have collected.
Model U.N. goes to conferences and debates and argues about their assigned countries. Being a part of the club, you get to learn more about current world issues and it’s a good way to to raise your confidence. You also get to visit different cities and states.
“I think students should join Model U.N. because they get to see what real worlds face and it’s an introduction to world politics,” English teacher Sarah Paulis said.
“The best thing about Model U.N. is that students gain communication, research, argument and social skills,” Paulis said.
If you like meeting new people and learning about the world around you, then you should join Model U.N. The club meets in the Point Plus every Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Hope to see you all there!
