The Percussion Ensemble will be holding a concert today from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Niles North Auditorium.
For the first time ever, Niles North’s Percussion Ensemble has been chosen to preform at the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) Convention. According to Percussion Director Mike Moehlmann, “It is a three day conference where all the music educators get together to listen to the top groups in the state and attend workshops and clinics on different teaching styles.”
The performance that was selected for the ILMEA Convention was preformed last Thursday in Peoria and will be the same show Percussion Ensemble will bring here to the auditorium today. If you didn’t get a chance to see them in Peoria, be sure to share their triumph by attending their show tonight.
