This Friday, Sept. 13, there will be a memorial service at Niles North to celebrate the life of English teacher and coach Dan Horyn. This event is primarily for students and teachers who could not attend his funeral and wake.
The service will be held after school in the Auditorium at 3:30 p.m.
The event include a video montage honoring and celebrating the life of Dan Horyn and a few guest speakers.

Is it possible to record the event on 9/29 for old students who are away at college. I would like to attend but will not be able to make it. I am sure it would mean the world to folks that cannot make it.

We will have another community memorial on September 29 for alumni.
