The app is designed in a comfortable, on-the-go format that allows readers to scroll through the four different sections easily. If a reader clicks on the ” 🙂 ” in the top left corner of the screen, they will discover a surprise encoded by the students of David Ruth’s video game programming class. The students are seniors Farhan Noormohammed, Michio Tsukamato and An Nguyen. They began designing and writing the code for the application in October.

If you are an Apple mobile device user, then simply click on the App Store icon on your home screen and type into the search bar: “North Star News.”

If you are an Android mobile device user, then simply click on the Google Play icon on your home screen and type into the search bar: “Northstar.”
