Popular rock band Weezer announced their 10th studio album last week, after releasing two new singles last month. The album will be another self-titled EP, however many people are dubbing it the White Album because of its color. The White Album is releasing on April 1st, but a new single “King of The World” is out now. Here’s the music video.
Lead singer Rivers Cuomo talked about the album saying, “The inspiration behind the songs were my experiences hanging around the Westside of Los Angeles, which has been our home since Weezer began.” Weezer’s last album “Everything Will Be Alright in the End”, released in 2014 and was seen as a return to form for the band after 2011’s “Hurley”. If you want to see Weezer live, they’re performing in Chicago later this year, but tickets are selling out fast so be sure to get yours.
