On Jan. 9, Niles North’s drama performance center will host the production of “Reflections” a comedic improv show.
The show features actors from the Play Production class, which consists of both juniors and seniors, and is taught by fine arts teacher Timothy Ortmann. The cast includes: seniors Sarah Alkyer, Emma Decker, Max Dolinko, Athanasia Giannetos, Alex Hammond, Eugene Hyun, Chris Khoshaba, Nina Roy, Rachel Sepiashvili and Sebastijan Torgus and juniors Sabina Dzelilovic, Amy Hagedorn, Ryan Loach, Camille Paskind, Erin Rourke, Lauren Schmelzer and Nathan Selinger.
The show will include sketch comedy, audience participation and improvisation. Its sketch comedy pokes fun at the quirks and characters of Niles North High School as well as the different obsessions and idiosyncrasies of our generation, such as Twitter. Not only will these talented young actors and actresses perform, they also wrote the script of the show’s non-improv material.
The two show times are 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the box office for $5.
