The Varsity boy’s tennis team is having a winning season so far, boasting a 5-3 regular season record.

The team is 2-2 in conference play, falling to powerhouses Vernon Hills and Deerfield. The team, which consists of boys from all grade levels, has been cruising through teams throughout their season.

The sport isn’t all about winning, though-the team members have a lot of fun playing. “It’s been a fun experience playing tennis,” sophomore Henry Sterbenc said. “I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun challenge next year.”

The team will hold their senior night Wednesday, May 9 at 4:30 – it will be held at Highland Park. As the season progresses, dates and times for playoff games will be announced. The team hopes they’ll have their peer’s support for their upcoming matches.
