Niles North Theatre presents “13,” The Broadway Musical this weekend. Performances are 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 7 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 12. Tickets can be bought at the box office after school any day this week for $10. The Thursday show is a free community performance.
“13” is a high-energy, hilarious show about a young Jewish boy struggling to “fit in” in middle school and going through the stages of “becoming a man.”
“We’ve all lived through that ridiculous social jungle that is middle school, and we have a fun representation of that through a musical. From a cheerleading number, to everyone going to an R-rated movie, to dancing rabbis, I can guarantee that you’ll walk out of the auditorium in love with the magic that Niles North Theatre can make,” Tommy Montgomery, cast member, said.
Be sure to attend this year’s musical to watch the cast sing their hearts out.
