It’s here again folks- Niles North’s very own Festival of One Act Plays will be taking on the stage January 21, 22, and 23. This festival showcases students from Niles North’s very own Directing class and their incredible talent as they lead a cast while undergoing the creative process of designing their very own plays.
“Audiences should be excited for this year’s One Act Play Festival because there is so much variety portrayed on stage, so many different kinds of people can enjoy it,” Jacob Austria, senior said.
The Festival of One Act Plays is known for showcasing a wide variety of student-directed plays ranging from comedy, romance, to life-lesson based plays.
“I feel very honored to be among such a great group of talented and creative people. Directing my own play challenged me in ways I didn’t think would happen during my high school career, and for that I am grateful to have been given this opportunity,” Noam Ron, senior, said.

The Festival of One Act Plays will take place January 21, 22, and 23 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Drama Performance Center. Come witness the incredible talent that all of Niles North students have to offer!
