ATTENTION SENIORS!!! Have you submitted your college application(s) yet? If not, that’s okay. Multiple colleges have early submission as an option. Take advantage of that!
A majority of colleges have an early submission deadline of Nov. 1. If you’re applying to a school with that deadline option, it would be helpful to complete and submit applications by then. That way, you’ll have something major out of the way, and you no longer have to worry about turning in applications. That’s how Maia Sepiashvili, senior, felt after completing the application process.
“I feel like my life has been a lot easier because it’s one less thing to worry about,” Sepiashvili said.
Filling out college applications can definitely be scary for some seniors. Reality really hits you when the application process begins.
“College has always been a thing that felt far away,” Sepiashvili said. “But when I was filling out the those applications it was kinda of like a stack of bricks, like ‘whoa this is real’.”
When you’ve completed and submitted your applications, the only thing to think about is waiting for a response.
“It’s a little more stressful because you’re waiting to hear back from colleges,” Sepiashvili said.
One thing you shouldn’t do if you have that Nov. 1 deadline is wait until the last minute to work on the application.
