This weekend Niles North will be hosting Gharba Night. A garba is an Indian social gathering that happens around this time of year. Students get to dance, eat and have just a great time. It’s a great way for you and your friends to experience Indo-Pak culture.
“I want people to know that not only is this a religious event, but it is really fun,” said Trisha Gandhi, President of Indo-Pak.
There is no limit to how many people can come to Garba/Bhangra Night on October 24 in the main gym. The age limit is 20 years old. Remember deadline to turn in all permission slips are Oct. 23. If there are any question contact Trisha Gandhi at [email protected].
So buy a ticket at school during lunch periods or at the door! Tickets are $5 at school and $6 at the door. This is gonna be one exciting night!
