Do you have a special talent that you’re dying to show off? Are you a singer, dancer, comedian, juggler, or any type of performer that is interested in performing for a school-run talent show? This is your chance! Students have the ultimate chance to flaunt their talents Tuesday, Oct. 13 and Wednesday, Oct. 14 to a panel of judges for Niles North’s annual Variety Show.
In past years, Niles North has strung up a wide variety of showcased talents, with performing acts such as singing, dancing, contortions, juggling- you name it. This year’s Variety Show has captured dozens of students’ attention to attend this week’s auditions.
Rena Cheriachangel, senior, is one of the many students who auditioned for this year’s talent show.
“What I love about V-show is that you can see your peers do things you never knew they were capable of, and the diversity of all these amazing talents put into one show is incredible,” Cheriachangel said.
Senior Mi Lee has been a well-experienced performer for the V-show throughout her years of high school, and is more than ecstatic for V-Show auditions this year.
“I decided to try-out for the V-show for most of my years in high school because there’s not many dancing performances compared to singing. Auditioning for the show enhances me to express my love for dance and especially because I wanted to spend my senior year doing the one thing I love the most with my closest friends,” Lee said.
Niles North’s student government, along with Caroline Benjamin and other teachers and staff, continue to be blown away by all the mind-blowing, astounding talent that Niles North students have to offer.
“I have a feeling that this year’s Variety show is going to be epic. Our school is immensely diverse when it comes to the talents that everyone puts on the table. We might also have a few surprises in store for the audience this year. Hope to see everyone at the show!” senior Kyra Kalliope said.
Results for the Variety show auditions will be posted within this week. With the unique talents and accomplishments that our school shines through each and every one of our students, come check out Niles North’s Variety Show on Friday, Nov. 13 and cheer on all the performing acts.
