With many new improvements made at Niles North since the beginning of the school year, one of the best ones is having an after school fuel-up. Located in front of the main gym, students can go grab a bite to eat while going home or going to practice.
“This is not for just athletes. It is for everyone – students, people who do clubs, theater kids, and its not just serving students. It is serving the members of our community,” assistant principal Keith Robinson said.
“This is beneficial because now students don’t need to go to the vending machine. They have different options and variety and students won’t feel hungry anymore.” Robinson said.
The fuel-up includes snacks such as brownies, cookies, turkey wraps, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins and fruit cups.
The snack bar is open from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. It’s a great way for students to stay healthy while staying active.
