Students travel to Iowa today for caucus

This morning, the AP government and politics classes will be going to Iowa City, Iowa to witness history by witnessing the Iowa caucus for the 2020 presidential election.

The Iowa caucus is so important because it is the first primary of the campaign season. It helps determine who is a real contender for the presidency and who is a pretender.

The students and teachers will be witnessing the start of one of the most important campaigning seasons the United States has ever seen.

Stay tuned to updates by senior Zach Ramos as he travels across the Mississippi River to participate in this important event.
