On Saturday, Nov. 5, Niles North Hebrew National Honor Society will be hosting their annual movie night. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and admission is free!
The movie being played is “Live and Become”, directed by Radu Mihaileanu, a “story of a Christian boy from Sudan whose mother forced him to assume a Jewish identity of another boy who died in order to send him to Israel and save him from hunger and death in his own country.” More information about the movie can be found here.
“The night is going to be so much fun, its free, and you can learn about Israeli culture! Everyone should definitely come,” Spencer Schwartz, president of Hebrew Honor Society, said.
The movie will begin playing 7 p.m. and there will also be snacks for sale. Middle school students are encouraged to come, and there will be special prizes available for them!
