This Kit Kat cake is the perfect one to make for birthday parties or a night in with friends. It tastes good and looks good, and it’s definitely one that people will be impressed by! Here’s the recipe below:
Ingredients:
- Twelve normal sized Kit Kat bars (NOT the snack size)
- Frosting
- One bag of M&Ms
- Ribbon (optional)
- The cake of your choosing
Directions:
- Bake a cake in two round 8-inch pans – you want the cake to be tall.
- When the two parts of the cake cool adequately, frost the surface of one cake and put it on the other.
- Finish frosting the entire cake, covering the entire surface generously.
- As soon as you finish frosting, begin placing Kit Kat pieces around the perimeter of the cake, so that you can see the words “Kit Kat”. Start at one point on the cake and lay each Kit Kat piece next to the other. Be sure to push them in the frosting so that they stick. For those of you who are perfectionists, be sure the word Kit Kat is facing the same direction on each piece.
- Wrap a ribbon around the Kit Kats to help them stay up and to add an artistic touch.
- Finally, pour the M&Ms over the top so that they are held in by the Kit Kats.
Enjoy!
