It’s that time of year again – the eigth graders are on the road to be incoming freshmen in high school.
Curriculum & Activities Night is an informational meeting for incoming freshmen to inform them what high school is really about and what adventures they will encounter with all of the clubs and activities that Niles North has to offer.
Principal Dr. Ryan McTague will talk to the eigth graders about high school and what to be prepared for. After the speech, the students will able to attend various booths and encounter the different paths, like sports, classes and extracurricular activities that interest them.
“This gives the freshmen time and space so they have a choice and an idea of what to plan for and how to get involved,” assistant director Bridget Conolly said.
Curriculum & Activities Night will take place January 22, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. Be sure to be there to represent your clubs and gain new members for next year!
