Ending with a score of 16-0, the senior PowderPuff team won this round against the juniors during the Monday night match.
Junior Maia Sepiashvili describes the game as a “complete adrenaline rush”. ”
“You never knew what to expect,” she said.
The atmosphere surrounding the game and the time together leading up to it had an inclusive and fun vibe. “The best part was I feel like I got closer to some girls I never really talked to,” Sepiashvili said.
The positive atmosphere continued even past the seniors’ decisive win and was exemplified when both teams rushed into the field jumping, chanting and celebrating together as (you guessed it) one.
Overall, it was a great start to the week’s homecoming festivities.
