The 2013 variety show at Niles North is this Friday, Nov. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the auditorium. The annual presentation is brought to the students by the class board.
Tickets for this year’s show are $5 and will be sold during lunch periods outside the east cafeteria. Friday is the last chance to buy a ticket; and tickets will not be sold at the door, so make sure to get them in advance.
As always, expect some entertaining non-competing acts to perform at the show, such as Auroris, the percussion ensemble, a teacher act video, and a performance by freshman Jasmin Stinson. However, the lineup this year is meant to be a surprise, so you’ll have to be there to see it for yourself.
Also, while you’re waiting for the show to start, stop by the Corner Bakery at Old Orchard Mall for the DM fundraiser. Say you’re with the District 219 Dance Marathon and a portion of the proceeds will go towards CROSO, this year’s charity.
The variety show is always a hit, so make sure you’re there to check out some of the hidden talents at our school.
