Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS) is inviting the student body and the community to their Hispanic Heritage Celebration Night on Oct. 4 in the East Cafeteria from 7:00 until 9:30 pm.
The night is hosted to celebrate the annual National Hispanic Heritage Month that lasts from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.
All proceeds go to Common Hope, a charity that is dedicated to the enhancement of education in Guatemala. It provides the necessary resources for students to stay and succeed in school.
There is an entrance fee of $2, or you can donate a school supply instead to benefit Common Hope. Some Spanish teachers are offering extra credit to those who attend.
The night will be filled with fun, complete with a piñata, learning about different Hispanic cultures, performances, food and more.
If you have any questions about the event, contact Susan Ranft, sponsor of National Spanish Honor Society, at [email protected] or Maggi Kreisheh, president of National Spanish Honor Society, at [email protected].
