Salsa Night, sponsored by Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS), is on Friday, Feb. 15 in the East Cafeteria from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets cost $4 if bought in advance from any Spanish teacher and $5 at the door.
The dance instructors are seniors Regina Roberg and Elana Rusnak and Spanish teacher Jennifer Almaraz.
In addition to all of the food and the dancing, “Spanish National Honor Society is teaming up with an organization called Common Hope by having a school supply drive. These [materials] will be sent to underprivileged students in Guatemala,” senior and president of SNHS Rima Parikh said. Participants can either donate money or school supplies.
So if you have ever wanted to dance all night, eat a lot of Hispanic food AND get Spanish extra credit for simply having fun, you should definitely come to Salsa Night!
