Miss “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday night? Have no fear, Niles North’s Class Board puts on their dancing shoes for this year’s annual Variety Show.
The 2012 Variety Show takes place this Friday, Nov. 2, from 7-9 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance during lunch periods since no tickets will be sold at the door.
The tickets are $5 and will be sold during lunch periods outside the east cafeteria. Friday is the last chance to buy a ticket for the show.
The “Dancing with the Stars” theme promises for an entertaining night as successful as last year’s “Saturday Night Live” V-show.
The Variety Show has always been a popular event that showcases the wide spectrum of talent at Niles North. This year, spectators can enjoy returning stars as well as fresh faces in a lively mix of singing, dancing and other miscellaneous abilities.
Perhaps you’ve seen sophomore Frank Lance practicing his talent in the hallways or during his lunch period. If not, you can check out his unique juggling routine as he performs third in the V-Show line up.
Last year, junior Suraya Kaiser amazed the audience with her perfected contortionist act. This year, Kaiser is showing yet another talent with a dance number.
Come see Lance, Kaiser and many more talented students in their “Dancing with the Stars” debut.
Whether you like ukuleles, contemporary dance, rapping or stand-up comedy, the V-show has something for everyone. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see your fellow classmates shine.
