The Viking girls volleyball players celebrated Senior Night in great style by trouncing the Maine East Demons on Oct. 15. It was the final regularly scheduled home game of the season for the varsity players, who seemed headed for bigger things in CSL play.
Sadly, the team narrowly lost to tough competitor Glenbrook North in CSL competition on Oct. 17. A victory would have tied them for first place, but now, overall, the Vikings rank 2nd in conference.
Winning the first game in the regional playoffs, the team heads to Loyola Academy on Thursday to extend their 29-games in the win column. Get a permission slip from the athletic office and take the fan bus to Wilmette. Cheer on this winning team.
