Love, heartbreak, and drama, all in ‘The Idea of You’

The Idea of You came out May 2, starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine, based on a book written by Robinne Lee.

The movie portrays a love affair between a single mother and the lead singer of a popular boy band, which unravels a lot of problems for the family. Anne Hathaway is a great actress who took this character from a book and created it into a real-life person. By her side is Nicholas Galitzine who also takes a character from a book and turns him into this lead singer. They both capture the love they have for each other, even through a camera.

The Idea of You has a lot of drama, plot twists, and heartbreak but in the end, everything comes together. The movie is one hour and 55 minutes long and it’s only available on Amazon Prime Movies.

As someone who isn’t really into rom-coms, Eddie Cho really enjoyed the movie.

“As you keep watching the movie you’re just waiting for them to get together and stay together. You also feel pity for the things they have to go through. Overall I really enjoyed watching the movie. It wasn’t those generic types of rom-coms, it was good and interesting,” Senior Eddie Cho says.

The Idea of You started as being a book and was created into this amazing movie all because of Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine. You could feel the connection and tension between them. The emotions they portrayed kept you interested in the movie and you would be intrigued. It was a good movie with great actors, and who doesn’t love Anne Hathaway.
