Victoria Fernandez, Senior

What is your name and grade? My name is Victoria Fernandez and I’m a senior.

What extracurricular activities, sports, or clubs are you in? Swim, figure skating, and manager of the badminton team.

What is your favorite part about being on the swim team? The community and the sense of family.

What is your favorite part about being a part of the team manager for badminton? It was great being a mentor to the underclassmen and getting to know everybody. Everyone was just so nice and lovely and would highly recommend badminton to anyone.

What is your biggest takeaway from highschool? Don’t take everything seriously because it is just not worth it.

If you could give your freshman self advice, what would you tell her? Walk faster in the halls and keep those you care about close.

If you could give advice to the underclassmen, what would you tell them? Walk faster in the hallway! Don’t stress too much on school and homework because at the end of the day, it’s not that big of a deal.

How do you cope from the stress that comes from school? I watch TV, movies and hang out with friends which helps me a lot.

What are you looking forward to after highschool? College since I really want to get a further education in nursing and I can’t wait to meet new people and make some money.

What will you miss the most about highschool? The underclassmen and how I can help them through the things they go through.
