We’ve collected the data on your fellow North seniors’ post-high school plans, and here are the results.
With the school year coming to an end for Niles North seniors, we’ve decided to carry out a poll asking students about where they’re headed after next Sunday’s commencement. The results are in, and here’s the breakdown of the answers from the 61% of our seniors who responded.

In terms of colleges, 5.8% of respondents are attending out-of-state universities, and another 61.3% staying in-state. The highest number of in-state respondents are attending Oakton Community College, with 19% indicating they are going there. The second highest percentage of in-state students is 9.2% going to Loyola University and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in third with 8.2%.

Aside from colleges, we have a portion of seniors pursuing alternative paths, including 4 students going straight into the workforce, 1 into the armed forces, and another to a trade school.
Regardless of what students are pursuing and where they end up, we are all incredibly proud of our graduating Class of 2022!
