The Saga distribution party on Friday, May 11 was a smashing success. Ralph Reyes, of Versus Mode headlined the event as DJ, joined by Niles North’s premier entertainers, including Ayrie Gomez, Chris Cheung and Glenwin Ebreo. Hundreds of students packed the Codell Commons to get first dibs on Niles North Exposed, the 2012 yearbook.
The Saga staff‘s goal is to sell all of their books this year, and they are coming close to this ambition. According to senior Editor in Chief Vanessa Cadavillo, “We intend on selling out at the distribution party.” There were fewer than 200 yearbooks left for purchase at the start of the party, and about 150 left by the end. It appears that some students could be left empty-handed. They won’t have any place to collect all those heartfelt end-of-year keepsake messages.
Not sure if you have pre-ordered? You can find a list right outside the yearbook office near the lobby. Students who did not attend the early release party will have to wait until Friday, May 18 before they can pick up their pre-ordered copy or purchase one of the remaining copies not already spoken for.
