On Wednesday, Feb. 26, Niles North will be hosting an “exploring college options” program for juniors and their parents. The program will take place in the auditorium from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
The night will consist of a panel of college admissions directors followed by a Q&A session. The program aims to educate students about all of the options there are when it comes to colleges and aid them in determining what type of college they want to go to. Topics to be explored include location, size, public versus private, type of campus (rural, suburban, or urban) and 2 year versus 4 year.
Also, don’t forget that college visits have started up again in the college resource center. Make sure to keep your “colleges I’m thinking about” list updated in Naviance so that you receive e-mail notifications for when representatives from your schools will be at North.
