The Niles North Varsity Boys’ Soccer team had a very supportive turnout for their strong home victory against Schurz on Friday, Sep. 13.
Their winning goal that night was secured by junior Adrian Coardos, leaving the final score at 1-0.
Friday’s game marked yet another sign that this season was going to remain a strong one for the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team.
The team feels mutually optimistic for their upcoming conference games. Senior Ivan Korkes expanded on their mentality at the moment.
“Friday’s game was a preparation for the upcoming conference games and now we have a firm grasp on our strengths and weaknesses.” Korkes said.
Niles North Junior Varsity Boys’ soccer team also faced off against Schurze Friday afternoon. The game was a tie with the final score being 3-3.
