Who says you have to dress up for Valentine’s Day? Instead of wearing a fancy outfit, why not sport some adorable ‘Be Mine’ themed nails? These simple and cute nails are just the design to express your love.

What you need: base and top coat, toothpicks, small paper plate, black, white and pink polish and patience.

Follow this design and have your nails Valentine’s Day-ready in no time.

1. Apply a base coat to yours nails.

2. Paint your nails white. Before continuing, let dry completely.

3. Pour some black and pink polish onto a small paper plate. Take one side of the toothpick and dip it into the black.

4. Carefully paint a stick figure (boy) on your index finger. Let dry. (Be sure not to make it too think. Otherwise, it will smear.)

5. Next, take a new toothpick with black polish and paint a (girl) stick figure on your pinky. Let dry.

6. Paint hearts on both your middle and ring finger. To add emphasis to the themed nails, paint a heart in both the boy and girl’s hands. Leave the thumb white. Let dry.

7. Finish off with a clear top coat. This helps protect your nails and adds beautiful shine.
