Thanksgiving 2019 will take place this Thursday, November 28. For most people, Thanksgiving is a chance to gather with friends and family and be grateful for all the things we have.

Traditionally, for those who celebrate, thanksgiving is usually incomplete without a large dinner filled with turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, and more.

As for those who don’t celebrate, there are still many other opportunities to get involved this Thanksgiving. One upcoming event, the Turkey Trot Chicago 5K takes place this Thursday at around 9 am. The 42nd annual Invisalign-sponsored Turkey Trot Chicago, presented by Byline Bank, will take place in beautiful Lincoln Park along the shores of Lake Michigan.

In addition to those terrific Thanksgiving-themed events, it is also one of the year’s busiest times for traveling and, of course, the eve of the biggest shopping day of the year.

That’s right, the day after Thanksgiving, more commonly known as Black Friday, is coming up fast.
