Lat weekend Niles North hosted a Vex competition in the gymnasium in which many teams competed and Niles North once again came out on top. With the competition going from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. these teams brought their A-game and their best robots. With the cafeteria filled with robot parts and the gym filled with judges and competition rings, the matches started and tensions rose. These teams regularly compete with one another and are constantly reworking their robots to be better for the next competition. While some robots take two months to create, other take up to six months. These students stay after school and build their robots with determination and little distraction leading up to the competitions. To see some highlights of the day click link down below.
