It’s that time of year again – the eigth graders are on the road to becoming freshmen in high school and it is also the time where Niles North High School hosts its annual Curriculum and Activity fair.
This event is targeted for incoming freshmen to inform them about the different clubs and activities they can get involved with when they start their journey in high school. Not only will this fair teach incoming freshman about the different opportunities they can can get involved with, but it teaches them that this is their story to write and to make it count!
“I remember Curriculum and Activity fair way back when I was an eight grader and that night showed me the endless possibilities that I can take advantage of and make my story in high school count,” Bushra Amiwala, senior, said.
“I believe incoming freshman should take this seriously because once you get involved, you learn more about your self, you make new friends, and you know what you want to do in your life,” Karissa Moy, math teacher, said.
Curriculum and Activity night will be held on Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Niles North High School. The evening will begin with a presentation and followed by different clubs and sports promoting their club.
