Congratulations to Barrington Wade on winning the Chicago Tribune Athlete of the Month. Wade will be featured in Suburban Tribune printed editions next week.
For each Monthly Challenge, a panel of judges from the Suburban Tribune sports team will determine in their sole and absolute discretion three to five Nominees in each Zone who will be posted on the Suburban Tribune website for public voting. The judges will select Nominees based on the athletes’ athletic performances, attitude, perseverance, and teamwork. This month, senior Barrington Wade was claimed victorious.
“I feel I have accomplished a lot since my freshman year of football. I always motivate myself to do better and even if my team loses a game I tell my self that this is an other opportunity to fix my mistakes so I can play better next time. It is such an honor to be Athlete of the month and most importantly representing Niles North. Thank you to everyone who voted for me,” Barrington Wade, senior, said.
“I am so proud of Barrington because he deserves this award. He always comes with positive during practice and he always motivates us to do our best. Congrats Barrington,” Matt Naranjo, friend, said.
Wade will be attending Iowa State University in fall 2016 and will continue pursuing his dream of football. Congrats again on the win Barrington!
