They all say good things must come to an end, and sadly it’s time to say goodbye to American Idol in the last season of all time. American Idol’s last season premiere aired early January 2016.

When American Idol aired it’s first season, the show took off running. Other networks were intimidated by the amount of views Fox was getting due to American Idol, that they made sure not to air their popular shows at the same time.

“When American Idol first started I was very young, but I still enjoyed watching it with my family because it was like a comedy/reality show. I don’t watch it anymore though because Simon Cowell left the show, and he was part of the reason why it was so funny. I won’t miss the show since it’s lost touch with what it originally was,” said, junior, Emma Thomas.

Judges from past seasons will be returning randomly throughout the this season to say their final fair wells. Ryan Seacrest confirmed with all the former judges that they will appear at least once this season.
