We all have that one animated movie that clings to our hearts forever and reminds us of our childhood. That includes many young adults who were fans of the movie Finding Nemo.
Making its debut in 2003, the movie throbbed the hearts of the audience and many wanted a sequal for this unforgettable adventure. The movie itself was on a budget of 94 million and had a profit of 936.7 million dollars. The film was a major success and after 12 years a sequel is FINALLY planned to hit theaters in the summer of 2016, titled Finding Dory
Finding Dory will take place six months after the events of Finding Nemo in which Dory suddnely recalls that she must go back to her family. Dory embarks on quest to reunite with her family.
“I am really looking forward to the sequel because Finding Nemo has been my childhood ever since it came out. I just hope the movie isn’t cheesy,” Noam Ron, senior, said.
“I still can’t believe that the sequel is happening and I hope Pixar makes this the best film they have ever made,” Richard Kath, senior, said.
Finding Dory will feature Ellen DeGeneres as Dory and Albert Brooks as Nemo and Marlin. It will release on June 16, 2016 worldwide. Until then just keep swimming!
