In the twenty-first century, many things can be synthesized and produced artificially, including the stuff that’s sold in the produce aisle. Chemical compounds like Aspartame and Red No. 3 have been labeled as food since they pass the test of being able to fit through the esophagus and do not kill you before you forget about it. Plants and animals are being injected with hormones to generate the most mass.
Many of these things, though good tasting and fill us up, are not suitable for a living organism to consume. Even if there are no immediate issues, cancers and many other horrors may occur.
