While others say the new Snapchat is the “best thing ever,” the new Snapchat is not my favorite and I have many reasons why.

I am so frustrated with the new Snapchat update because it is not the same as it use to be. I cannot stalk the “bae” anymore and know who she is talking to or who her best friends are. (I better be the first one on her best friend list.) In addition, only the user can see who his or her best friends are and what their scores are.

The new snapchat has new features, such as not seeing who your friends’ best friends are and a new segment called Discover. Through Discover, you can see videos from CNN, the food network, National Geographic, and more. I do not care what the animals are doing, or what the food network is cooking; after all, I am not going to go home and bake cupcakes.

Also, the new way to add people is on the camera screen. All you have to do it move the arrow down and it will pop up who you added and who added you.

Despite many frustrations, I really like how you can move the text around the screen. Back in the old snapchat days, you could only move the text up, down, or in the middle. Now you can move the text anywhere on the screen.

Before time runs out, DO NOT UPDATE THE NEW SNAPCHAT cause it snuffs expectations. It is a waste of time and phone storage. I, for one, uninstalled the app.

If you like the new Snapchat you literally just went against humanity. I hope all of you uninstall the app or decide not to update it, so that Snapchat will get the hint and go back to their old ways.
