BLU Products, an unknown company, is the new smartphone manufacturer taking over the market. Founded in 2009 by Samuel Ohev-Zion, BLU is based in Miami, Florida. Originally, BLU only offered products running the Android operating system (OS). This year, BLU Products introduced its newest hardwares which run on Windows Mobile OS and Android OS.
One of its new featured products is the Studio 5.0 SII. It’s very thin. It has a 8MP back camera and a 1.6MP front camera which includes features such as auto focus, smile detection, and geo tagging. It supports up to 32 GB, enough to hold 11k pictures. The Studio 5.0 SII has a 1.5 GHz processor, 5.0 inch qHD screen, and it runs Android 4.2. Its retail price is $135 on Amazon.
Similar to Studio 5.0 SII, Win HD smartphone is 5.0 inches HVGA display. Except, it runs on Windows 8.1 and it has Hotspot. It retails for $149, sold by BLU Products.
Also, they have recently introduced their new tablets. One of the new tablets, Life View Tab, comes in two colors: white and dark blue. It has a 8.0 inch display with a 8.0 back camera and a 5.0 front camera. It’s also compatible with 3G data plans from any MVNO providers such as AT&T and T-mobile. Also, the 42 Mbps WiFi download speed shrinks your data loading time. It retails for $184, sold by BLU Products.
This past summer, BLU introduced their premium line of smartphones, the BLU Vivo IV. The design is very unique and it’s screen is made of 98% of Corning gorilla glass. It is ultra thin, 5.5 mm thickness. It has a “State of the art” 5.0 inch Super HD AMOLED display. The performance has significantly improved from the other products. It’s packed with 1.7 GHz Octacore processor. Loaded with 16GB memory and 2GB of RAM. With its 4 lens, 13 MP camera, it allows you to capture photos at 95 degree angles. It also has a 5 MP front camera. It’s available in three different colors: black, white-silver, and white-gold. It retails for $299.00, sold by BLU on Amazon.com
