With its rapid growing, tech wearables have become “The Next Big Thing”.
On September 10, Apple announced its newest product line, the iWatch.
The iWatch is packed with standard features, such as sending text messages, yet Apple has added a few new, unique features. Some of the new features that Apple introduced to the wearables market are the passbook, timer, stopwatch, alarm, stocks, settings and WatchKit apps.
According to Apple, the iWatch will have a very sensitive display to tell “a tap from a press”. With Glances, the iWatch will display only the most important information from each of your apps. It will even ‘tap’ your wrist when you get a notification.
Like many other smart watches, iWatch tracks your daily activities and heart rate, along with accelerometer and the GPS sensor. You can also record your heart beat with a built in sensor and send it to someone else.
It’s known that with every new product, there is a new chip to hold information. In this case, the iWatch will run on the S1 chip.
Apple did not release any information regarding the pricing for the new iWatch.
