As we get started with another school year, Apple is gearing up for its September 9 iPhone 6 launch.
Samsung has slowly been taking over the smartphone market with its latest devices such as the Galaxy S5. However, with Apple’s new iPhone 6 announcement, the competition is only getting more intense.
According to MacRumors, the iPhone 6 will deliver significant improvements over the iPhone 5s. Sources say that some of these changes will include:
- Redesigned front panel and LCD
- 4.7 and 5.5 inch screen options
- Sapphire crystal screen
- Faster, more efficient A8 chip
But, do not forget that the new iPhone 6 will be running the iOS 8. The new operating system has re-modeled its components – implementing a smarter keyboard, incorporating a new “continuity” concept, new camera features, Family Sharing and upgraded iMessage.
“Continuity” concept: For those who own multiple Apple products, continuity from one device to another has never been easier. With new iOS 8, you will be seamlessly able to accept phone calls and send text messages from any of your devices. In addition, you can continue to browse, email and finish your project on your other device (and vise versa). Also, no WiFi? No Problem, you would still be able to use the continuity feature on-the-go!
Family Sharing: “Oops, please ignore that picture!”. The iPhone 6 comes with all content sharing. iOS 8 will allow you to share your location, calendar, pictures, music and app store access with any family member.
