What clubs are you involved in/were involved in? Chinese Club, Filipino Club, PASA, H20

How long have you participated in each activity? 4 years in Chinese & Filipino Club, 1 year in PASA, 1 year in H20

What colleges have you applied to? And if so, what college are you deciding to commit to? UIC, Loyola, Bradley, Marquette I’m planning to do 2 years at Oakton for my gen-eds and then transferring to UIC.

What are you majoring in? Nursing, to aim for PED nurse practitioner

What made you choose that career path? I’ve always had a love for taking care of people and especially kids, so being a ped nurse would be a perfect fit since it’s a family-friendly job. I also feel that I can enjoy the job itself since I love to surround and help myself around kids

What is your favorite season and why? My favorite season is summer. I grew up in the Philippines, so I’ve always been by the water and hot weather my whole life. I also love to be outside the house all the time, so going out in the summer makes me stay out longer since the sun sets at a later time.

What is your favorite color and why? My favorite color is green since to me it symbolizes life and living. Green reminds me of trees and grass that come to life in the spring time.

If you lived in another country, where would you want to live? Philippines! I was born in the Philippines and moved here when I was 10, so living back in my home country would definitely be great. The weather is hot, there are so many islands to explore, and my family is there.

What is your favorite drink? Matcha! I love bitter/semi-sweet things and I grew up drinking matcha with my grandmother, so naturally I prefer it over tea and coffee
