I have the same MBTI personality type as Daenerys Targaryen, which I think is pretty cool.

What do you see at Niles North you wish to see less of?

On a comedic note, I wished there was less Axe body spray in the hallways. On a more serious note, the amount of apathy students have for each other and their teachers is disheartening. I hope that there will be more people who are empathetic and kind to one another.

How do you bring positivity in the Niles North community?

I’m a Point tutor, and I always try to make my tutees feel comfortable. I think this happens in small ways, like just giving a smile or asking them how their day is going.

What have you achieved since coming to Niles North?

My biggest achievement since coming to Niles North has to be the number of people I’ve been able to connect with. As a writer, I not only love creating stories, I also love listening to them. Niles North has so many people from various backgrounds that it has provided me with such an enriching opportunity to learn from others and appreciate their narratives.

Do you have a favorite memory?

This is totally not a plug-in for Calliope, but one of my favorite memories was being at Calliope’s open mic night last year. It was so cool to see the poets and musicians perform and share their art. It really was an example that art connects people in many more ways than one.
