Hebrew Honors Society (HHS) will be hosting a free movie night on Dec. 1 at 6:30 pm in Rm. 1100, showing the movie Cupcakes. The event is a perfect opportunity to spend time with friends/family while supporting HHS and their efforts.

On Dec. 1, HHS will be showing the 2013 Israeli movie Cupcakes by director Eytan Fox. His other movies include Yossi & Jagger, The Bubble, and more.  The movie does not currently have a rating and will be shown in Hebrew with English subtitles. Starring Dana Ivgy, Karen Berger, and Yael Bar-Zohar, the comedy film will feature six friends from Tel Aviv creating a performance to represent Israel in the made-up “UniverSong” music competition.

In the spirit of the movie’s name, HHS will be selling cupcakes at the door. However, admission to the movie is free. There will also be a raffle with a chance to win prizes.

This movie night is the first of the year, with many more events slated to come. It is the perfect opportunity to experience the magic of an HHS-hosted event and support the student-led organization while enjoying an entertaining movie and cupcakes. For more information regarding the event, please contact Mrs. Raiber ([email protected]).
