Wordle, Nerdle, and Taylordle?

Almost everyone in the world by now knows what Wordle is, but if you don’t, it is a game bought by The New York Times, but made by Josh Wardle. The objective of the game is to guess a five-letter word, but you only have six tries to guess it. The word also changes daily.

But if you have already played Wordle and want to try something similar, there are many spinoffs of the game, such as Worldle, Taylordle, Nerdle, Absurdle, and Crosswordle.

Worldle

If you are an expert in geography, then Worldle might be the spin-off for you! The game gives you a picture of a country from around the world and gives you six guesses. Each time you guess a country, it tells you how far you are in miles from the correct country.

Nerdle

If you’re more of a numbers person, Nerdle is just the game for you. Instead of guessing a word, it makes you guess an eight-character equation with only 6 guesses.

Absurdle

This is a meaner version of Wordle. The game gives you unlimited guesses, but limited information on the word. There is also a hard version of the game if you would like an intense challenge.

Crosswordle

Wordle, but make it crossword/sudoku style. The game starts with the final word at the bottom, and you basically try to guess the words that made the final word. If there is a yellow box, it means it is in the final word but not in the right place and if there is a green box, it means it is in the right place.

Taylordle

Calling all Swifites who love Wordle! If you are a hardcore Swifite, then this is the perfect game for you. The rules are the same as regular Wordle, but instead of regular words, they’re Taylor Swift references from her albums to lyrics.

If you do not like any of the spin-off Wordles listed above, do not worry, because there are plenty more Wordle-type games out there. Such as Swordle, BRDL, or Wordle Unlimted
