On August 28, the world was given the startling news that renowned actor, Chadwick Boseman, had died at the age of 43 due to a 4-year long battle with colon cancer.
Boseman portrayed many iconic roles in his lifetime from playing many significant historical figures like Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, and James Brown. His most famous role was of T’Challa in Black Panther.
Though he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, Chadwick Boseman kept his illness a secret and continued to star in movies. His most recent film was Da 5 Bloods, which was released on Netflix on June 12, 2020. He kept on going even though the surgeries and chemotherapy and brought us, the audience, amazing performance after performance.
